“Your Rancho Cordova Leadership experience is more transformational than can be imagined – both personally and professionally. From day one you will be with a passionate and committed group of leaders who are driving positive change everyday.”

About Leadership Rancho Cordova

Leadership Rancho Cordova is a program of the Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce Foundation. We are grateful for the generous support of our sponsors, the leadership of our governing board and program commitment of our module chairs and speakers.

In 2003, a group of Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce members established Leadership Rancho Cordova (LRC) to grow a well-informed resource of committed community leaders. Rancho Cordova incorporated in 2003 and LRC’s first class of 14 was selected in the summer of 2005 and graduated the following spring.

Since then, over 240 have graduated from the program. Each year, LRC recruits community and civic activists, business leaders, along with public and non-profit sector representatives to develop community leaders, activists, visionaries and advocates at all levels dedicated to the future of our community. As the program moves into its second decade, LRC has had significant impact on the community through the engagement of our graduates. We look forward to shaping the future of Rancho Cordova . . . one leader at a time!

Class Projects

Each class chooses and works on a community project. The project benefits the community and gives class members the opportunity to develop skills in leadership, cooperation, and problem solving. Technically, each project is a one-time event or activity, Class II’s International Fest (iFest) and Class II’s Movies in the Park were so successful that they are annual events.
